A manifestation journal template with room for action

Answer the questions that fit. Fragments are welcome, and you can leave any field blank.

  1. What do I want? Describe a specific change you would like to work toward.
  2. Why does this matter to me? Name what you value about it, beyond how it might look to others.
  3. What is within my control? Separate your choices from timing, circumstances and other people’s decisions.
  4. What is one next step? Pick a small action and a time to review what happened.

A manifestation journal example

This fictional example shows how brief your answers can be.

What do I want?
I would like to find a job with more time for careful design work.
Why does this matter to me?
I enjoy making something useful and having enough time to improve it.
What is within my control?
I can update my portfolio and ask about the role. I cannot choose who gets hired.
What is one next step?
On Saturday, revise one portfolio page. Next week, review what still needs work.

Keep the entry in memoir

Copy the writing you want to keep, then paste it into a new entry in memoir. Website drafts do not transfer automatically. Follow the writing guide or start with one line a day. You can also answer these questions as a voice note.

Questions before you begin

Do I need to complete every field?

No. A few words in one field are enough. Leave anything else blank.

Will my writing be saved?

Only if you explicitly copy, download or print it. This tool keeps a draft in page memory and clears it on reload.

Can I print the template without an account?

Yes. Print a blank worksheet or your completed entry. Your browser controls paper size and any Save as PDF option.

Does this synchronize with memoir?

No. Copy your answers and paste them into a new app entry if you want to continue there.

Can I use this for a 369 journal?

You can repeat a sentence if you enjoy that routine, but this worksheet focuses on your reasons and actions. A repetition count does not guarantee a result.
