memoir publishes this website alongside its journaling app. The articles, prompts and tools are intended to help readers keep memories and explore ways of writing. We have a commercial interest in the app, including when we discuss alternatives.
Attribution and responsibility
“Published by memoir” identifies the publisher responsible for a page. It does not claim that an unnamed person wrote it or that a clinician reviewed it. Many older articles arrived without a verified individual author credit. We do not invent names, biographies or credentials to fill that gap. The About page and imprint identify the site and operator.
Sources and factual claims
For app features, we use the released app, its help material and official product documentation. New or revised research claims should link to the relevant study or authoritative guidance and explain practical limits. A study of a particular writing exercise is not evidence that every journal app produces the same result. Historical quotations need a traceable source; original lines should be labelled as original.
This is an ongoing editorial standard, not a claim that every archived article has received a complete independent fact-check. Dates and any page-specific review note explain the scope of an update.
App comparisons and recommendations
Our journaling app comparison distinguishes published feature information from editorial suggestions. It is a documentation-based comparison, not a hands-on ranking. We do not claim a testing device, trial period or measured result unless that work has been performed and described. Prices and platform support can change; links to the official product pages let readers check before purchasing.
Health-related writing
Our content provides general information and reflection exercises. It does not diagnose conditions, provide individual treatment advice or substitute for professional care. We do not display a medical-review badge without a named, qualified reviewer and a real review. If writing increases distress, stop or choose a neutral topic; seek appropriate support when needed.
AI assistance
AI tools assist with parts of this website’s drafting, editing and technical development. Their output can contain mistakes, unsupported attributions and inaccurate summaries. AI assistance does not count as firsthand experience or a professional qualification. The publisher remains responsible for addressing errors; generated citation markers are not usable sources.
Dates and corrections
Publication dates preserve the original article date where known. An updated date marks a substantive change, rather than automatically making an old article appear newly published. Small spelling or layout edits do not by themselves establish a new research review.
To report an error, email contact@memoiri.app with the page URL, the passage and a source if available. Do not include private journal content. Corrections can involve rewriting a claim, adding a source, clarifying a limitation or consolidating an overlapping page.
