memoir is a journal for noticing everyday life: a few words after a conversation, a photo you want to keep, a mood check-in or a voice note before a detail disappears. It is designed for iPhone and iPad, with an Apple Watch companion for quick captures.
Your memories, with choices about storage
Journal data is stored on your device by default. Optional personal iCloud Sync is available with memoir+. You can use an app passcode and supported device authentication, and keep a separate memoir backup. Read the privacy policy for details rather than treating a short privacy slogan as a complete explanation.
What you can capture
Keep written entries, photos, sketches, voice recordings and moods. Return to your entries through Search and Reflection. For a closer look, explore voice journaling, journaling on Apple Watch or the feature help guides.
Who publishes this website?
The website and its journal articles are published by memoir, the app featured here. That creates a commercial interest when we discuss journaling apps. The memoir editorial profile describes our writing. Our editorial policy explains attribution, sources, comparisons, AI assistance and corrections. The imprint identifies the website operator.
